University of Nebraska-Lincoln is holding a workshop on Wednesday, March 26, at the Adams County Fairgrounds to help farmers get started in no-till crop production. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and will cover Crop Management Considerations, Soil Biology and Nutrient Management, and Residue and Water Management, concluding with a demonstration of no-till planting equipment and how to adjust planters. A rainfall simulator will also demonstrate the effect of rain on soils and residue.
